If he turns out to NOT be the guy you dreamed about. Blame your disappointment on your dreams, not on him.

 To dream that you are in volved with a prince, suggests your need to feel important and need to be with someone who can make it happen. You may be admiring him and his accomplishments. To see a prince in your dream, signifies honor and recognition will be bestowed upon you too. Alternatively, it indicates your wishes (as  a woman) for romance and accidental meeting and get involved with that Prince Charming. The esthetics can entice you, but is it real? His personality might become a turn off

The dream seldom matches reality because the person will think they can control the narrative.

Prince charming is not always going to be as women expect

If you get to know the man in a suit you are going to find out he is not as you have imagined him. He dresses for success but when he goes to happy hour he may remove his tie. 

I have often said that men are like cars in a public parking lot.... many of us are not the same. and have individual ways of thinking.
Women have always had expectations connected to their imagined prince charming to be filthy rich, good looking and charming. Please note it's not about how much money a man makes, but how much he keeps. If he spends money recklessly to impress a woman, he will not be able to do it or be willing to do it forever.

the dream does not ever match reality because the other person will think they can modify and control the narrative.

Have you ever dreamed of a You know, that imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. Where the people are perfect, where even the relationship is perfect?

Well, this is exactly that paradise that Sir Thomas More so mundanely exaggerated in his novel Utopia in 1516. He stated and I quote: "Instead of man being worried about food and supply, the Utopian can feel absolutely sure that he, his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren as long a line of descendants will always have enough to eat and enough to make them happy.” This was a man who was so rooted in his belief that one could actually achieve this “utopian” place; that one could so desperately work to produce affluents

This is the very essence of the romantic dreamers....  dream.

You know, that belief that one can settle down in the perfect relationship, receive opportunities, work hard at keeping it perfect and can eventually live the success of a relation working out.
