For many years, I snored very loudly while sleeping in the same bed with my wife. I knew it was disturbing my wife's sleep. So without telling her why I did , what I planned .... I moved to our downstairs bedroom. The move I think was mistaken for abandonment. I thought she understood why I did what I did (it was my intention to allow her to have a more peaceful night's rest. I later started sleeping on my side, instead of my back, after we got divorced. and I had moved out.
As the saying goes " no good deed goes unpunished"
Too Bad that I never explained why I did what I did. Maybe she was more tired of me then than I thought, when she filed for the divorce
We men try to fix what we think we can fix but may make things worse, if our intentions are misinterpreted
We assume we have the right solution for a problem but often get things wrong!
Forgive yourself for not knowing, what you did not know before you learned it.
