You need to take pride in how you look

As a personal trainer, I was often asked the question how do I maintain a good body into my later years. My answer was Keep It Simple Stupid K.I.S.S.
When you are young your goals should be to never embarrass yourself or your girl by being out of shape. She deserves the best you that you have to offer.

- In your 20(s)---Focus on the basics, Weight training is fine, but getting some
basic exercises down is the best way to prevent injuries.
When she looks great....so should you, put in the work.

- In your 30(s) Resist the urge to “get back to that 20(s) life” you will never have that 20(s) body,
again. Master your diet and portion control, and limit alcohol and sugar consumption.
The empty calories in both will derail your plans…. To look good.

- In your 40(s) Get back to building muscle, you start losing muscles at the age of 35,
so weight training is crucial at this point. Keep the weights manageable.
Build consistently; you have nothing to prove.

- In your 50(s) stretching, stability and resistance training are key.
I recommend being barefoot when working legs, Yeah legs are your foundation.
Foot and back muscles, can be boon to your fitness level.

- In your 60(s) and beyond --- Balance is super important as you move into
your later years 70(s)  and your later seasoned decades. Water aerobics and yoga,
which is really for each decade, especially for weight training individuals,
you need stability and flexibility as you get older. Many men give up
on themselves at this point, but I contend this is the time you move as much
as possible you need to keep moving.

He is neither embarrassed to take off his shirt or his pants!
